Hello everybody
My name is murt1987. Im a hunky 19 year old from Kildare;). I've been working since I left school two years and still haven't decided what I want to do. I had crazy notions of working in banking and working with videogames but the truth is I never knew what I wanted to do. So for the time being, you'll catch me online.
I've been gaming for years, ever since Santa got me that Sega Mega Drive. Ever since then I've been pretty much buying every new console under the sun. Here's a list of what I own :
Sega Mega Drive
Sega Dreamcast
Xbox
Xbox 360
Playstation 1
Playstation 2
Nintendo Gamecube
Im currently planning on buyin the new Nintendo Wii as it looks to be one of the more innovative console out there and also a Playstation 3 for some a little game called Metal Gear Solid 4.
I think my enthusiasm in gaming grew when I played probably my favourite game of all time, Shenmue. At the time in 1999, this type of RPG was unheard of and it really opened my eyes and to see what I was missing out on. I think it was the story telling that drawed me into it. If a game doesn't have a good storyline, I'll hate it. Just look at my list below, all great story's.
I really like all type of games whether Im good at them or not. I play for fun mosty not competitively. Im into RPG's, Sports games, Racing games, FPS's and anything els I can get my hands on. Here's a few games Im a big fan of.
Shenmue 1 and 2
Metal Gear Solid series
Halo series
Resident Evil
Elders Scroll IV : Oblivion
Project Gotham Racing series
Call of Duty 2
Online gaming is also a very big part of my gaming habits too. It all started with Xbox Live 2 years ago, soon after I met up with some great people in a clan called The Wild Rovers. We've been going strong for nearly two years now and I think I've made some great friends there. Check out www.thewildrovers.net if you don't believe me.
